The Charter below details Maison Brunet Tissot’s policy regarding the collection of personal data and cookies for the www.my-little-france.fr website (hereinafter referred to as the Site). This Charter applies to all information provided by you, or collected by Maison Brunet Tissot (hereinafter the Publisher) during your browsing.

Maison Brunet Tissot respects your concerns about the privacy of the information you provide to us. By providing us with your information and personal data, you agree that we may use, study and, if necessary, transfer them in order to process your newsletter requests or your orders for products on the Site. We therefore recommend that you read this Charter very carefully.

Article 1 – Definition

Personal data: any personal information directly or indirectly identifying the Internet user or customer (e.g. surname, first name, IP address, etc.).

Cookie: A “cookie” or tracer is a text file that may be stored in a dedicated space on the hard disk of your Terminal by the browser software you use to consult our Site, subject to the choices you have made in your browser with regard to cookies. This file enables its issuer to identify the Terminal in which it is stored, for the duration of the cookie’s validity or storage.

Article 2 – General information

When using the Site, you may be asked to provide Maison Brunet Tissot with personal data, in particular when browsing the Site, creating an account on the Site, placing an order or subscribing to a newsletter.

Any personal information that you may transmit to Maison Brunet Tissot for the use of certain services is subject in particular to the provisions of the French Data Protection Act no. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended, and to European regulations on the protection of personal data.

In addition, Maison Brunet Tissot may collect certain information relating to your browsing on the Site. This collection is carried out under the conditions described in Article 7 – Cookies of the present Charter.

Article 3 – Management of personal data by Maison Brunet Tissot

3.1 Purpose of data collection

Through the Site, Maison Brunet Tissot collects and processes only the personal data necessary for the following purposes:

  • Customer relationship management: management of customer contacts, execution and follow-up of orders, deliveries, invoices, payments and accounting;
  • Remote claims and after-sales service management ;
  • Cookie management as described in article 7 – Cookies
  • The management of subscriptions to Maison Brunet Tissot electronic communications relating to news, products and services as well as commercial prospecting messages and personalized offers if you have accepted;
  • Conducting studies, surveys and product tests;
  • Managing customer reviews of products and services;
  • Managing web display personalization and customer preferences;
  • Abandoned basket relaunch management ;
  • The fight against fraud.

When personal information is collected, the information essential for these purposes and required to respond to your requests is marked with an asterisk (mainly, title, surname, first name, postal address, e-mail address and bank details). If you do not fill in the required fields, we will not be able to respond to your request.

3.2 Legal basis for processing

The legal basis for processing your data may be, depending on the context in which it is collected :

  • Your consent,
  • Our contractual relations, particularly in the case of a purchase,
  • A legal obligation,
  • Maison Brunet Tissot’s legitimate interests, such as personalizing our communications, improving our products and services, fighting fraud or securing our tools.

3.3 Collected data

Depending on the data you provide or share with us, personal data may include information about :

  • Your identity
  • Your contact details
  • Your online shopping
  • Your online journey (my-little-france.fr, social networking pages, partner websites)
  • Your requests and complaints via our online and in-store customer relations department

3.4 Personalizing your profile and navigation

Your personal data is used to complete your profile in order to provide you with personalized content, communications, services or displays. To this end, Maison Brunet Tissot may use profiling techniques to evaluate and predict your personal preferences and/or interests.

You may object to the use of these profiling techniques at any time (see article 6 “Exercising your rights”).

3.5 Data storage

Your data will be kept for no longer than is necessary for the following purposes:

  • For customer relations, remote complaints and after-sales service: for the period strictly necessary to process the order, complaint or after-sales service, plus 3 years from the end of the commercial relationship. In addition, data may be kept for as long as is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
  • To manage your online customer account: for as long as your account is active, and by default for 3 years from our last contact. You can delete your online account at any time.
  • For subscriptions to Maison Brunet Tissot electronic communications: as long as your subscription is active, by default for 3 years from our last contact. You can unsubscribe at any time in your customer account or by using the unsubscribe link.
  • For customer reviews of products and services: while the product is on the market;

3.6 Data recipient

All personal data collected on the Site is intended for Maison Brunet Tissot.

As part of your browsing on the site and your orders, your data is transferred to third-party companies that perform services on behalf of Maison Brunet Tissot.

3.7 Data transfer abroad

As some of the recipients of your data are located abroad, their transfer outside the European Economic Area (EEA) is subject to appropriate safeguards, in particular contractual safeguards, in compliance with the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data.

We take particular care when contracting our services with our suppliers and any third-party companies, in order to protect your data in accordance with current regulations, whenever it is processed outside the EEA.

3.8 Data security and confidentiality

Maison Brunet Tissot has taken all necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of personal data processed and to prevent them from being distorted, damaged, destroyed or accessed by unauthorized third parties. All the security measures in place comply with the state of the art, particularly as regards information systems.

As Maison Brunet Tissot does not control all the risks associated with the Internet, it draws the attention of visitors to the existence of possible risks inherent in its use and operation.

Maison Brunet Tissot will notify, within the legal deadlines, all violations of personal data to the competent supervisory authority for the protection of personal data and will notify you if these are likely to generate a high risk for the rights and freedoms of individuals.

Article 4 – Gift order functionalities and data collected concerning a third party

You have the option of entering the contact details of a third party as part of your order (e.g. gift). Maison Brunet Tissot will only use the information provided by the third party to process the order.

In this case, you guarantee Maison Brunet Tissot that the third party whose data you are communicating is informed that you have communicated data concerning them to us.

Article 5 – Use of data

Maison Brunet Tissot will not transfer or sell personal data to non-affiliated and non-partner third parties unless Maison Brunet Tissot has previously informed you of this in press releases, agreements or by information available on the Site, and you have expressly given your consent or it is required by law.

Article 6 – Exercise of rights

You can access your personal data or ask for it to be deleted. You also have a right of opposition, a right of rectification and a right to limit the processing of your data. You can consult the CNIL website (www.cnil.fr) for more information on all your rights.

You can also manage your newsletter subscriptions in your personal space on the site. You also have the option of unsubscribing by using the unsubscribe link included in each communication sent by Maison Brunet Tissot.

Article. 7 – Cookies

7.1 What is a cookie?

When consulting the Site, information relating to your terminal’s browsing on our Site may be recorded in “cookies” files installed on your terminal.

When you visit the Site for the first time, and Maison Brunet Tissot plans to place a Cookie on your terminal, you are informed by means of an information banner appearing at the bottom of the page. By continuing to browse the Site after this banner is displayed, you expressly consent to Maison Brunet Tissot depositing Cookies.

7.2 Cookies on the Site

7.5 Sharing your Terminal with several people

If you share the use of your Terminal with several people, or if your Terminal has several browsers, we cannot be certain that the advertising services intended for your Terminal correspond to your own use of this Terminal and not to that of another user of this Terminal. Where applicable, you are free to decide whether to share the use of your terminal with others, and to configure your cookie settings accordingly.
